[TITLE-1]
A hanger designed for traditional Japanese garments such as Kimono and Yukata.
[TEXT-1]
The only Kimono hanger in the NAKATA HANGER collection, featuring an elegant glossy finish that complements delicate Japanese fabrics.
Designed with the proper length and thickness to support Kimono after use before folding and storing. The bar also allows convenient hanging of obi belts and accessories.
Due to the delicate nature of Kimono fabrics, long-term hanging storage is not recommended.

Before you wear kimono
[TEXT-2-1]
Japanese garments are traditionally designed to be folded and stored rather than hung, unlike Western clothing with three-dimensional tailoring.
However, garments that have been stored for a long period may develop fold lines and retain the scent of insect repellent. Before wearing, hanging a Kimono, Furisode, or Obi overnight can help release odors and naturally relax creases.
To prevent wrinkles on the hem, make sure the garment does not touch the floor while hanging.

After care
[TEXT-2-2]
After wearing, a Kimono may contain moisture from sweat and humidity. Do not fold and store it immediately. Instead, allow the garment to air out properly to maintain its condition.
Hang the Kimono on a Kimono hanger and leave it overnight to release excess moisture. If overnight airing is not possible, hang it for at least 2 hours in a well-ventilated room away from direct sunlight.
Before storing, check the garment carefully for sweat marks, makeup stains, or food spills. If any stains are found, we recommend consulting a professional Kimono care specialist as soon as possible.
